Flood Basement Clean up

When a pipe bursts while a family sleeps in a Tujunga, CA home, water seeped through the floor into their basement below, causing the ceiling to collapse.  When the family awoke to this disaster, they called SERVPRO of Burbank for help. After assessing the damage, we began extracting the standing water in the basement. Next, SERVPRO of Burbank placed high-powered fans and dehumidifiers to dry as much of the wet materials as possible. SERVPRO of Burbank then removed the damaged ceiling drywall and cleaned the entire area with disinfectant. After drying the clean wood framing, the family was ready for a contractor to complete the job!
